Is there a chat service like Yahoo Answers that anyone knows of? - other than yahoo is there any chat service
I like helping people with their questions, but sometimes not easy to get everything they need in a few paragraphs and I was asked if anyone knew of services to more than chat or instant messaging from where you can ask and answer questions about the conversation. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Talk of the town has several sites. You mentioned Ridic a quiz, the quiz-answering questions. But nothing of the sort.
