A receiver typically includes an AM / FM.
An amplifier can have.

There are also pre-amps and CD-disks.

The receiver has a built in amplfier an additional amplifier for connection to an amplifier or pre-processor and can be made available to some recipients get in touch if they have pre-out connections. With two separate components, the kind of future it is, for example, I have a 7-channel amplifier connected to a processor are (like a receiver, but without the section GPA), my CPU a few years and not processed HDMI and HD audio formats, I'll move to a new processor soon, but I will keep my amplifier.
